NGĀ ARIKI

[The Paramount Chiefs]

The Ngā Ariki [The Paramount Chiefs] page introduces the participating Ariki of United World Tribes, recognising the nations, islands, and communities they represent.

Each profile will provide an overview of their whakapapa [genealogy / ancestral lineage], areas of service, current community projects, and the work they are undertaking to support the wellbeing of their people.

Where appropriate, contact details for their administration or designated representatives will also be provided to encourage respectful communication and strengthen connections between the Ariki and the communities they serve.

While Ariki have often been difficult to access, United World Tribes seeks to foster greater openness and connection, recognising that an Ariki is first and foremost a servant to IO, and through that calling, a servant to the people — serving all walks of life with responsibility, humility, and lived practice.
